Bush Camp and Valley Camp sit within the reserve boundary — you fall asleep to it. Umnenga Lodge and Chintsa Sands are minutes down the road towards the coast, better suited to tour groups, larger parties and self-catering stays.

Valley Camp's children's tent adds two beds to one of the six tents.
4-star graded
Valley Camp
Six custom-designed tents fifty metres apart in an intimate, leafy setting, each on its own elevated deck among indigenous trees. Cloud 9 mattresses, percale linen, stocked mini-bar, slipper bath, air conditioning.
3-star graded
Bush Camp
Five en-suite safari tents twenty metres apart, each on a raised timber deck that doubles as a private game-viewing platform. The bathrooms are crafted to resemble caves, built into the hillside's natural rock.
Umnenga Lodge
Fifteen twin rooms, three doubles, six singles and a honeymoon suite at Glen Eden — a kilometre from the beach, with tarred roads all the way to the door. Built for tour groups and conferences of up to 150.
Self-catering
Chintsa Sands
Two double rooms and two family rooms, sleeping twelve, fifty metres from the sand at Chintsa West. A newly renovated kitchen fit for proper cooking, and the Chintsa Bay restaurant directly above if you would rather not.
Dining for resident guests
Everyone at the camps eats at the Lapa.
Guests at both tented camps are catered for at the Sunset Lapa — stone walls quarried from the reserve itself, a thatched roof, and a view down the valley that does most of the work. Meals are prepared on site.
There is a bar, free wifi, and space for private functions of up to thirty people subject to availability.
