Twin beds dressed in percale linen inside a canvas-walled tent at Valley Camp.

Valley Camp

Six custom-designed luxury tents, fifty metres apart, each on its own elevated timber deck among indigenous trees. Twelve guests, absolute privacy, four-star graded.

The tents

Spacious, well-appointed, and properly alone.

The Valley Camp sits inside the reserve in an intimate, leafy setting. Each tent is nestled among indigenous trees and set fifty metres from its neighbours — far enough that you will hear the bush rather than the people in it.

Every tent has an inside sitting area plus both a covered and an uncovered private viewing deck, so you can choose sun or shade without leaving your own ground.

Families

One tent has a children's tent attached.

It sleeps an extra two, which takes the camp to fourteen when you need it — children close enough to check on, separate enough that everybody sleeps.

Meals

Catered at the Sunset Lapa.

Valley Camp guests dine at the Sunset Lapa, up on the hillside above the camps. Stone walls cut from the reserve's own rock, thatch overhead, and a valley to look at while you eat. Everything is prepared on site.
