Paddlers in yellow canoes on the tidal estuary at Inkwenkwezi.

Canoeing the estuary

Canoe leisurely down the tidal estuary towards Glen Eden beach, then work your way back up to complete the course. Two hours, transfers included.

The route

Canoeing like no other.

You start inside the reserve. The estuary carries you down towards the beach at Glen Eden, past sandstone overhangs the sea has been carving for centuries, and then you paddle back up to close the loop.

The two hours quoted includes the transfer time to and from the canoe site, so plan for roughly that from the moment you are collected.
